Concussions

What is a concussion?

A concussion is a traumatic brain injury (TBI) caused by a blow to the head or when the body is impacted to cause the head to be violently shaken. In sports such as, but not exclusive to football, hockey and soccer, concussions are common.

When sustained it will alter the functioning of your brain. The effects vary from case to case but often include headaches, difficult with concentration, dizziness, issues with coordination or balance.
